When developing a new product, we prioritize deadstock options. The idea is that by repurposing excess materials from industry overproduction, we reduce textile waste and give new life to high-quality fabrics. For FW24, 80% of our shirting is made from deadstock fabrics.
All our garments are locally produced in Portugal, keeping with our ongoing effort to prioritize heritage and working conditions. We firmly believe that the craftsmanship in Portuguese factories results in a superior product.
At Fairly Normal, we are committed to incorporating organic, recycled, and natural fibers across our collections. We work with a wide range of fabrics, including organic cotton, wool, cashmere, recycled polyester, as well as biodegradable fibers like TENCEL™.
Upcycling is a core part of our commitment to reducing waste. Since 2023, we’ve introduced our Upcycling program to merge circularity and creativity by collaborating with artists and organizations to transform waste materials and discarded items into new, high-quality products.
